Crimson Rose had the idea and wrote a proposal to build a traditional Chartres Labyrinth at Fly Ranch. We started in May and we worked on it about 2-3 days a week for 3-4 hours a day. It is a 12 circuit labyrinth that is 104 feet in diameter, with 4 foot wide pathways for accessibility. We finished the stone work on the 12th circuit in November.
I took this drone footage as we were building it. We will continue to embellish the stone work this winter, weather permitting, but the basic form is done. We will see how the grazing animals negotiate it on the Hualapai Flat.
